EASTBOURNE OPEN 2009 RESULTS

Congratulations to Rose and Malcolm Fuller and Ken Sprange for winning the Eastbourne Open Mixed Triples. A superb result and all at Motcombe Gardens Bowls Club extend their congratulations for a stirling effor....well done!!


Congratulations to Pauline Nash on reaching the finals (level 5) in the Sussex Unbadged Singles. This is her best result to date in this competition and quite rightly Pauline is very pleased at acheiving this stage.Well done Pauline and good luck when you try again in 2010. We wish Sheila Holman all the best in the next round.


We have lost some respected members of our club lately. Hilda Vine passed away in June and we have this month heard of the deaths of Alf Edmund and Hugh Perry. Our best wishes go to all their families. Cards have been sent by our Welfare Officer on behalf of us all.

Well done to Barry Milgate on winning the Croall this year, a superb effort and we are very pleased for you.

Congratulations also to Micky Hackett, Pat Deacon and Pauline Nash on reaching the finals of the Lifeboat TRiples. A really good effort and well supported on the day by so many Motcombe Members.
